A Little Technical Help?

I edit a small publication called Other Voices. When people submit a piece, it shows up under stories. I hit publish. Sixty percent of the time, it works and the story is added to the Newsfeed, the Other Voices homepage, and the person’s profile.

Forty percent of the time it doesn’t show up in the news feed (that I can see), or on the OV homepage, but it does show up in the person’s profile as having been published by Other Voices.

Can another editor or someone Medium tech savvy tell me what I’m doing wrong (if I am), why, and how to fix this?

I am running the latest version of Ubuntu Linux and using the Chromium browser.

Any help will be appreciated.
