Actually, many of these letters are sent out. They are identically worded. Yes, if you “report” a post, its author will get the same response. I even posted it. Apparently, from writers I have spoken with who got this form, the deadline isn’t followed up on. This again leads me to believe it is only an automatic form response. It is a way of appearing to do something without the hassle of actually doing something.
