As a veteran, I dislike being used as a football in this political game. No one, left or right, speaks for all veterans. I am sure that some veterans support Trump, some don’t, and many don’t even care. We are people, not symbols to be trotted out in support of whatever the current controversy happens to be. And yet, in America, having already given blood, that seems to be our only remaining value. Most of the time, it’s just easier to ignore us.
