Where do you imagine you are going?
Maps only suggest possibilities, roads
that deliver you up to other roads.
Not every journey counts as a quest.
Destinations remain elusive, temporary.
Pack your donkey, get ready, get gone.
Heed the stars, moss, migrating birds.
Smite the dragons. Rescue the Princess.
Follow the messy lines in your head.
At the finish, you will still be dead.
