I appreciate all the concern and sympathy that this post has generated, but that’s not really why I wrote it. My problem, while unnecessary and maddening, isn’t a medical problem. It won’t kill me. But many, many vets who do have often serious medical problems are caught up in this kind of black hole. Often it does kill them. They are the ones to feel bad for. And there are many of them.
