I don’t disagree with you. The biological imperatives are first and foremost. When you are my age, you experience that first hand. No one can see someone’s inner qualities. Few are attracted to anyone’s soul. The shallows can lead to the deep. Perhaps that’s all we can hope for. If not, then biology is destiny, however unfashionable that is to say.
