I met Ann Coulter once at a party in DC, shortly after she got infamous. She’s the kind of woman that makes you proud to be a man, but ashamed to be a human.

Nevertheless, she must be allowed to speak at Berkeley. Let the protesters protest, as is their right. Let no one show up to listen. Whatever. But banning speakers for their (however obnoxious) views is exactly the fascist tactic the protesters love to shout about.

And, yes, it is a taxpayer funded university. That matters too.
