I think it used to be, at least more, what you (and I) wanted. That is gone. I can’t even find the people I used to read.

And the mechanism itself has gone weird. For example, according to Medium, I have 11,966 followers. Every month I get an email saying I have added roughly 50 more. But the number 11,966 never changes. Of course, it’s an unreal number.

Although, I used to get regularly 500 views for a poem, now it’s more like 50. That means nearly 12,000 people (supposedly) follow me, but only about one half of one percent view my poems. Where are the other 99.5?%?

I no longer even try to understand any of this. :)
