I was happy to see this. Martha Gellhorn was a writer who deserves more attention than she has gotten, probably because of her marriage to Ernest Hemingway. Her accounts of The Depression are harrowing and her war reporting always rings true to me. She was much more than Hemingway’s wife. She had quite a life at a time when it was much harder for a woman to do that than it is now. Thanks.
