In 1998, I was at a conference in Aspen. The public internet was brand new. I heard Scott McNealy, founder of Sun Microsytems, during a Q&A being badgered about privacy. He finally got impatient and said, “You no longer have any privacy. Get used to it.” That was in 1998. Perhaps you weren’t born yet. His words have always stuck with me. Turns out that he was right. :(
