In 1998, when the public internet was new, I was at the Aspen Genious Institute, listening to a talk given by Scott McNealy, one of the founders of Sun Microsystems. During the Q & A, people kept badgering him about what this new internet thing meant for privacy. Finally fed up, he said: From now on, there is no privacy. Get used to it. Precient man.
