Jack: I am not interested in money at all. Few sources pay for poetry and then usually a pittance. I’m here for access and audience. Do I want to pay, say a $50+ dollar subscription fee to provide them with free Content? I don’t know. Seems a bit insulting.

Purge may have been too strong a word, but it is not going to look or work the same.

The only plus I can see in the subscription model is that I can’t imagine people (a lot on Medium) who never write anything but comments on comments will want to pay for that. Should cut the troll population. If we have to pay a subscription fee, then people who don’t shouldn’t be able to comment at all.

As an organization (which I do not presume to understand), very little that is organized or coherent seems to come from Medium. To me, they (it) seem to be flailing…
