PS. There is one large chink in Trump’s armor: the CIA. The real ability to coerce and control citizens is in the ever expanding power of the surveillance state. More powerful, I think, than the military or police. If the CIA, NSA or even the FBI aren’t on board with Trump, he has a problem.

Yes, he appointed the CIA director. Keep in mind, the CIA director does not control the CIA. No one does. He can only know what he is told. I doubt any one person really knows what goes on within The Company. It is wheels within wheels.

I am not a conspiracy theorist. Still, both JFK and RFK hated and mistrusted the CIA. The feeling was mutual, especially after the Bay of Pigs debacle. They both ended up dead in weird circumstances. Just saying.
