Thanks for the thoughtful response, Mike. The MPP feels very temporary to me, like it is another step in sprucing up Medium for sale or an IPO.

Of my 11,300 followers, I think, based on responses, perhaps 500 are real. The bot inflation was probably also to make Medium look more attractive to the market.

I may write some articles for the MPP as an experiment, but no more poetry. :)
