to write the body
with any intimacy.
Approximations,
at best.
Fluttering eyelids,
napes of necks,
kisses of skin,
the jolt of tongue
upon a thigh.
In the flesh, these
tell the true story.
Easier and better
just to live in it
electric with joy.
