The first time I tried Medium, the PC SJW Feminist Progressive minions had it locked down. If you crossed them, even mistakenly, they would attack as a pack. Now, I think there is much more balance. Perhaps because many of the old attack dogs have moved on. Sorry about James Massey. He was too clever for the ignorant algorithms that now govern us, collateral damage. But, things have improved.
