This is true. It was a combined effort. It was also the brainchild of Britian’s obsessed “Bomber Harris.” So call it a British raid if you like. Still, Dresden was primarily a civilian target. The attack was purely to instill terror among the civilian population. Arguably, it did nothing to militarily “support” the Soviets. That makes it a war crime, British and American.
