For baby boomers, now is the great harvesting. The people who were important in our lives are all of a certain age, and their deaths will accelerate, as will our own.

I saw the Allman Brothers performance at the Fillmore East that became their first live album. They were at their peak and it was an experience.

One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.” We are passing. The cute new critters who replace us may disdain us, but they will never know what a cosmic party they missed out on.

Here’s to the Sixties, what little I can remember. :)
