Yep. This has driven me to the edge. A mistake was made that caused me to lose my drivers license in November. All the doctors agree that the was and is no medical reason for that to happen. After months of inconvenience and needless tests, I need one signature on one form to get my license back. None of my VA doctors will sign the form because they think that would mean they were responsible for the mistake. It wouldn’t. The PA Dept of Transportation says they don’t care which doctor signs the form, but they have to have it to reinstate my license. One form, one signature and this will be over. But no.

Of course, I contacted my Congressman’s office. Believe me, that is no magic bullet. It takes paperwork and weeks before they even begin an investigation.

Lincoln said it was a nation’s responsibility “to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow, and his orphan.” That is clearly no longer a promise kept, and not just in my case.

I am truly disgusted by this.
